Fitted within the oral vestibule, the Frankel appliance increases arch width to make space for permanent teeth. It is designed to stimulate growth for the lower jaw, in order to align teeth and also assist with protrusion or overjet. By holding the lips away from teeth, the appliance allows the skeletal system to develop more naturally.

  • Suitable for treatment of Class II Malocclusion
  • Can also be used to treat Class II Division 2 cases
  • Commonly worn for 18–24 months
